\/>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The <strong>educational activities<\/strong> of the Laboratory concern the teaching of <strong>General Biology, Plant Morphology &amp; Anatomy, Plant Physiology and Biochemistr<\/strong>y.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Research Activity<\/strong><\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The research activity of the Laboratory mainly focuses on the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<blockquote>Plant stress physiology: effect of abiotic (e.g. mechanical injury, light, etc) and biotic stresses (e.g. presence of nematodes in the root system) <strong>a)<\/strong> on physiological parameters such as photosynthesis, transpiration, stomatal conductance and <strong>b )<\/strong> in the concentration of pigments in the leaves (photosynthetic pigments and anthocyanins).<\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<blockquote>Biochemistry and Oxidative Stress in plants: effect of environmental factors and cultivation practices on oxidative stress in plants, through methods to assess cell damage and plant antioxidant defense.<\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Research team of the laboratory<\/strong><\/h2>\n<hr Spectrophotometer<\/li>\n<li>Emission spectrophotometer<\/li>\n<li>Instrument for measuring physiological parameters (photosynthesis, respiration, oral conductance, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Chlorophyll meter<\/li>\n<li>Anthocyanin measuring instrument<\/li>\n<li>Instrument for spectral analysis of light<\/li>\n<li>Plant growth chamber<\/li>\n<li>Centrifuges<\/li>\n<li>Analytical scales<\/li>\n<li>Double water distillation device<\/li>\n<li>Incubating ovens, high combustion oven<\/li>\n<li>Heat sink<\/li>\n<li>Microscopy<\/li>\n<li>Auxiliary equipment such as pH meters,
