The “Plant Protection<\/strong>” laboratory is active in scientific fields concerning the enemies and diseases of plants, as well as their treatment methods.<\/p>\n

His educational activity concerns the teaching of the subjects of Agricultural Zoology, Nematology, Entomology and Phytopathology.<\/p>\n

It is one of the three research laboratories in Greece that specializes in nematodes worms.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

His research activity focuses on the academic subjects:<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

  • phytoparasitic nematodes that cause serious plant diseases (soil and plant material analyses, systematic classification, biological and integrated management, evaluation of nematicides), and<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    entomopathogenic nematodes that are a powerful tool in the biological management of insects (entomopathogenic nematodes \u2013 host insect interactions, entomopathogenic nematodes \u2013 phytoparasitic nematodes interactions, dispersal studies and entomological protection of urban and peri-urban greenery).<\/p>\n
