Profile
Dr. Georgios Ch. Lykokanellos holds the position of Assistant Professor in the subject “Floriculture – Landscape Architecture”, of the Department of Agriculture, School of Agricultural Sciences, University of Patras.
He holds a PhD in the specialty “Ornamental Plants” (Agricultural University of Philippopolis), a Master’s Degree in “Agrochemistry & Biological Crops” (University of Ioannina) and a Master’s Degree in “Geosciences & Environment” (University of Patras).
As a Scientific Officer, he has prepared a Postdoctoral Research (AgroETAK), a Research and Technological Development Innovation project (applied research in the agricultural sector) co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF).
He has worked in the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food as an Agronomist, (USDA Certified Phytosanitary Inspector, Food Quality and Safety Inspector) but also in other Public (Inspector, Head of Department, etc.) and Private Bodies (Agricultural supplies, Horticultural projects) with various responsibilities and rich experience. He is a member of several Registries (of Appraisers, Inspectors, Experts, Auditors, etc.).
He has significant teaching experience in Education (TEI, DIEK, KEK, ELGO, ASPAITE, DE), in Training Programs (EKDDA) as a Lecturer or Program Implementation Manager with several participations in International and National Conferences.
