In the Apiculture Laboratory, students learn about the wonderful world of bees, their way of communicating, the identification of diseases and apiculture plants, as well as the difficulties faced by every beekeeper, with an emphasis on prevention and solving problems that arise depending on the season.
In the fall training, students are taught how to prepare beehives for wintering, to care for and prepare their apiculture equipment (painting and disinfecting hives, wiring frames, melting honeycombs, etc.), so that with the first spring blooms, the beehives begin to grow and strengthen.
The ultimate goal of all manipulations is to yield to the blooms and to offer the maximum in the collection of food, as well as the production of Royal Jelly and Queens.
However, it is not only the beekeeper who benefits, but all of humanity through the pollination of plants and the increase in the fruit set of flowers.
