Profile
Dr. Giannakopoulos Evangelos holds an Assistant Professor tenure post at the Department of Agriculture of the University of Patras. His research interests focus on studying and modeling of the interactions of phyto-molecules and xenobiotics at the Liquid-Solid interface of abiotic and biotic dispersal systems in Agrosystems from quanto-mechanical to molecular level using advanced spectroscopy techniques and computational simulation methods. He has been trained at the University of Patras-Greece (BSc in Physics), the University of Ioannina-Greece (PhD in Environmental Physical-Chemistry), the Hellenic Open University (5-years Research Associate), the University of Nicosia, Cyprus (2-years Research Associate) and the Frederick University of Cyprus (2-years Research Associate). He has published more than 40 articles in international conferences and journals, he holds 1 patent, he has supervised more than 30 MSc, and he has participated in numerous national and international projects. His collaborations include several Research Centers and Universities.
