Profile


Dr Georgios Salachas is Professor of Plant Physiology and Nutrition at the Department of Agriculture, University of Patras. He has been director of a master’s degree program, research leader or member of the research team in several Research Programs and member of several advisory committees in doctoral theses. He has 36 published papers in peer-reviewed international scientific journals and numerous scientific papers in national and international conferences. Reviewer of several scientific journals and member of several Scientific Associations. Inventor of the “Automated Aeroponic Plant Growing System» and founding member of the innovation network “Cannabis Hub” at the Patras Science Park. He has been member of the National Research and Innovation Council, member of PSEK of the Region of Western Greece, member of the “Agri-Food Partnership of the Region of Western Greece” council, Vice Rector of the former TEI of Western Greece and Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at University of Patras.
