The Fluid Mechanics Laboratory of the Department of Agriculture of the University of Patras aims to acquire knowledge in the subjects of Fluid Mechanics, Computational Fluid Mechanics and hydrology, with an emphasis on applications in Agriculture.
Research interests
The main research objects of the laboratory are:
- Development and application of numerical methods to solve the flow equations
- Development of water management methods with an emphasis on agricultural applications
- Development and solution of flow models in porous materials
- Development of spatial interpolation computational methods
