Profile
Dr. Kanatas Panagiotis holds the position of Assistant Professor of Agriculture-Crop Crops of the Department of Agriculture of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Patras.
He has a PhD in Agriculture and an M.Sc. in Organic Agriculture from the Agricultural University of Athens. He has been an Agronomist at the Messolonghi-Nafpaktias Agricultural Union with 5 years of experience in EU single farm payments including the Integrated Management and Control System (ICSM) and the Parcel Identification System (LPIS).
Author of more than 30 publications in international scientific journals and more than 10 presentations and abstracts at national and international conferences. Certified Adult Trainer (2015). Scientific collaborator in many research projects and has participated in the Short Program “Precision Agriculture Applications” of the Hellenic Open University (2019).
His subjects include crop science, integrated weed management, energy plants, aromatic and medicinal plants, organic farming, production of propagating material, weed-crop interactions, weed resistance to herbicides and new crops.
